GUIDELINES Downloading All the files are available to anyone who wants them. Please read the terms of use before downloading. 1. Click on the "Translations" link to access the search page. 2. You may choose to view all the translations alphabetically (by author, title, or jounal), or by general subject (i.e., dinosaurs or fishes). In addition, you can select a subset of the translations by choosing one of the preset alphabetic range buttons. 3. To download a file to your computer, click on the link associated with the format you want (.doc or .pdf) Note that sometimes only one format is available. Uploading Files may be text-only or include graphics (scans or reproductions of original figures); I will post whatever materials are made available to me. To add a file to the database: 1. Send the file as an attachment to an e-mail message to the webmaster. Whenever possible, include both IBM and Macintosh versions of the file; OR 2. Send the file on a disk by snail mail to: Matthew Carrano, Department of Paleobiology, Smithsonian Institution, P.O. Box 37012, MRC-121, Washington, DC, 20013-7012; OR 3. Send the actual translated paper to the above address. Many older articles were translated decades ago, and now exist only as handwritten or typewritten pages. I will convert these to computer format and post them as downloadable files. Requests and Comments The bulletin board contains comments and requests from myself and other site users.  If you would like to add to the board, send me an e-mail.  I will post the information and relay or post any replies.
